Stingers Korfball Club

Bit of a tough week this week with the majority of our players either away for the weekend or ill with the seasonal sniffles.

Anyway, as everyone would be playing in both games, Stingers 2 were under orders not to try too hard but to use the first game as a warm-up. Of course, everyone ignored this and the game ended quite tight at the end, unfortunately Stingers 2 losing out 9-8 to Norwich City 4.

With everyone nicely warmed up, Stingers 1 started out surprisingly slowly. It seemed to take an absolute age for Stingers 1 to finally score the first goal with Dragons 2 almost instantly drawing level. The first half continued with Stingers 1 scoring a few more times to make it 3-1 at half time.

Luckily Stingers 1 picked up the pace in the second half, ending the game 12-2 victors.
