Stingers Korfball Club

After Stingers 1 were beaten by Norwich City 3 last week, Stingers 2 weren’t overly confident going into the game. However, that soon changed as we scored some early goals to go 3-0 up in the first five minutes.

Unfortunately we couldn’t maintain the momentum and Norwich City 3 were level by the start of the second half and their top goal scorer from last week was soon at it again scoring long shot after long shot – in fact he scored 7 or their 13 goals in the end to beat us 13-10.

Although we lost, Stingers 2 should be commended for some excellent play and it was good see Helen and Connie back – in fact Helen was the top scorer with 4 goals!
